I love the analogy with soccer because I went through the same experiences as a soccer coach while spending a career in management. Child soccer teams (and their parents) aren’t much different than teams at work. You have leaders, followers and I don’t cares.

If you accept the reality of those three groups on a team, you will get a lot more done because you will know who to lead, who to encourage and who to ignore.
