I have recently come to believe that social “dominance hierarchy”, which some people might call social “class”, is not just a matter of wealth, status and income but includes intelletual hierarchy.

The level of intellectual hierachy depends on the abstractions you discuss in addition to logic, integrity and other mental attributes.
