I did the same thing during the management phase of my career. I would read multiple business and management books at the same time.

In some cases, I didn’t finish reading them for as much as a year or two. Some I didn’t finish at all — with no regrets.

Goal #1 was knowledge; goal #2 was reading as much of them as I needed or wanted to read.
